Yesterday’s run was an easy 3 miler, not much to say except it feels awesome to be saying it like that.
Today normally would have been a rest day, but looking at the weather, I decided to go ahead and run tomorrow’s 5 miler tonight. It was awesome. A little humid, but somewhere around 60 degrees. There was a break in the storms, and the forecast shows rain tomorrow morning then windy and temperatures dropping all day….even a chance of flurries tomorrow night. So, given that I could either be running in shorts and t-shirt tonight, in perfect weather, or either in the rain or in the cold windy, possibly snowy weather tomorrow, it wasn’t a hard decision.
The run was great. The route I chose had lots of big hills to keep with the theme from last saturday’s run. My pace was around 9:10, and that included the long steep hills from downtown frankfort to my house, so I was very satisfied with my effort tonight.
I’ll hang up and listen…

I am with you on that. I can’t wait to run without being bundled up under 10 lbs. of clothes.
